ERFIP´s MISSION  is to explore synergies between private giving and business development while opening doors of philanthropic and business capital to invest in impactful models of development. 

​Philanthropy is widely perceived as a Western World invention, although one can trace its roots and practice to multiple ancient cultures. A direct result of this perception is an insufficient support for philanthropy in & from emerging markets. ERFIP exists to strengthen philanthropy in the so-called Global South through convening private philanthropists and investors in sustainability, promoting learning among peers and deepening research.
